RMG15315 - We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a growing full-service events agency.

THE ROLE

This agency are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and play a key role within the team. Working closely with the Director and Marketing Manager you will help drive the growth of the business through boosting sales and forging strong client relationships.

A key focus for the Business Development Manager is to drive new business sales, acquire new customers as well as upselling services to existing clients.

Key responsibilities include;

  • General new sales leads
  • Building, growing and maintaining new client relationships
  • Carrying out research and identifying new clients / industries
  • Attending regular client meetings
  • Producing presentations and pitching for new business
  • Putting together quotes and proposals
  • Growing existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling
  • Working closely with in-house Marketing, Events and Production teams
  • Reporting sales figures

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this Business Development Manager role you will have proven sales experience from within the events industry, having worked within an events agency, production agency or experiential agency. You will have a track record of converting business within the event and experiential marketing industry.

We are looking for consultative sales skills teamed with strong communication and negotiation skills.
