We are looking for a Conference Manager to join a boutique conference and exhibitions company based in West London.


THE COMPANY

This well established professional congress organiser have a solid base of experience and an unrivalled reputation for producing leading events across the healthcare sector. Working with over 300 clients they deliver a range of conferences and exhibitions across the year. Ranging in size these events often span multiple days with their largest event attracting over 2,000pax with over 100 exhibitors and speakers.

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Conference Manager to come on board and join their close-knit team. This is a busy and varied role where you will work within the conference team, focusing on taking the lead and supporting with a portfolio of conferences, exhibitions and congresses across the year.

Key responsibilities;

  • Supporting the Conference Producer
  • Speaker, programme and stakeholder management
  • Venue and supplier liaison and management
  • Logistical planning, support and delivery
  • Exhibitor, sponsor and stakeholder support
  • Marketing communications, social media management
  • Website management, updates, templates
  • Proofreading, managing production of printed materials
  • Budget management
  • Overseeing income reconciliations and expenditure reports
  • Delivery of projects onsite


THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for the Conference Manager role, we are looking for candidates that have experience working within the event's industry - ideally from within a PCO / conference organiser of exhibition organiser background. You will have excellent verbal and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Any knowledge of the pharmaceutical / healthcare sector would be an added benefit but is not essential.
