THE COMPANY
Our client are an international marketing group with a dedicated events division. Their award-winning creative and event management teams deliver experiences with the power to engage, stimulate and convey compelling messages.

THE ROLE
We are now looking for an Event Director to join this dynamic team and play an integral part in the delivery of key event programmes. Working with senior members of the team you will get involved in:
Overseeing all elements of event delivery including taking the lead on large events
Ensuring communication and efficiencies between all internal departments
Overseeing and inputting into proposals and pitching for business
Supplier management and negotiation
Managing and developing client relationships
Line management and development of a teamBudget management including full financial reconciliation
On-site event management when required
Client relationships - building, maintaining and developing strong relationships,
Contributing to new business tenders and pitches
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience of leading the successful delivery of large conferences and exhibitions from an agency background. If you are an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a range of people, including clients, suppliers and colleagues then we need you!
Most importantly we are looking for candidates who show a passion for the industry and a willingness to learn within a fast paced environment.
