THE ROLE
Due to continued success and growth of existing accounts there is now an opportunity for a strong Event Director to join their team.
Responsibilities include:
Account management and relationship development
Being involved in pitching for business
Overseeing all elements of event delivery including taking the lead on large events
Supplier and DMC selection and management
Resource management
Working closely with, and ensuring communication between all internal teams
Ensuring service levels and KPI's for events are maintained
Being responsible for the profitability of events
Budget management including full financial reconciliation
Onsite management
Line management and development of a team
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must come from an agency and have extensive experience within the events sector, coming from an operational background where they have delivered UK and overseas events. Candidates must be commercially focused and have a proven background of managing accounts and associated financials previously. Line management skills would be an added benefit for this role but more importantly candidates need to have a strong understanding and background of delivering events!
