THE ROLE

As an Event Director you will be responsible for taking the lead on projects from brief through to delivery as well as managing large accounts. You will also be expected to travel across the UK in order to attend regular meetings with key clients.

Responsibilities include:

*Account management including building and developing relationships
*Proposal creation and pitch
*Managing events from pitch through to delivery
*Venue and supplier sourcing and negotiation
*Liaising with internal teams
*Full logistics
*New idea generation (taking the lead in creative meetings)
*Budget management and reconciliation
*Onsite management
*Management and development of junior members

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have extensive experience in the events industry and have a proven ability in managing events from conception through to delivery. A natural ability to build strong relationships with high profile clients is a must and you will have ideally have managed and grown your own accounts previously.

Automotive experience is preferred but not a requirement for this position, as is previous line management experience (with the view to potentially managing a team as you grow in the business). The client is based in Yorkshire but is happy to accommodate UK Wide applicants due to the locations of their clients.
