THE ROLE

There is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Event Manger to come on board and deliver and evaluate their programme of events across the year. Focusing on both external, customer facing events as well as internal events this is a broad role with responsibilities including:

• Acting as the principal client interface

• Creating, planning and delivering events across the year

• Working closely with internal team to ensure these are aligned with the companies strategy

• Allocating resource to projects and ensuring project plans are on track

• Supplier liaison and negotiation

• Stakeholder management (both internal and external)

• Ensuring events are compliant

• Line management including appraisals

• On-site event delivery

• Budget management and final reconciliation

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal background would be someone currently working within a similar role at an event agency or medical communications company, with a good understanding of medical education delivery in the pharmaceutical sector (either client or agency side). Candidates should have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment and experience of acting as the principal client interface. In addition candidates must be confident at delivering events from concept to completion including full logistics and budget management. Line management experience would be preferred but is not essential for the role.
