Located in an idyllic country setting, this popular hotel hosts an abundance of events including private functions such as weddings and birthdays through to conferences, dinner receptions, meetings and brilliant New Years parties! With multiple function/ ballrooms, a number of events can take place at any time and the team work hard in ensuring each is as flawless as the last.

Due to on-going growth this prestigious hotel and conference space are now on the look out for an experienced Event Manager to come on board!

THE ROLE

As Event Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of a busy events department, from managing initial enquires through to ensuring smooth delivery across a multitude of events.

Your responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:

• Liaising directly with clients

• Point of contact for all event enquiries

• Showing potential clients around the venue

• Schedule management of the events team

• Coordinating with in-house departments

• Managing suppliers

• Overseeing a junior team members

• Budget management

• On-site management

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will need to have a strong background of delivering events within a hotel/ venue. Candidates must be comfortable client facing as you will be responsible for managing initial enquires and show rounds. Candidates must also be highly organised, this role requires coordinating with internal departments and managing junior team members.
