THE VENUE

Based in Yorkshire this versatile venue are part of a larger organisation and are host to a broad range of events across the year including live music events, festivals, theatre performances and much more! Delivering both internal events for the organisation as well as external events for a variety of clients their unique events space can be adapted to cater for a broad range and style of events for up to 2,000pax.

THE ROLE

There is now a need for a versatile Events Manager to come on board and take responsibility for the delivery of their continuously evolving events calendar.

A broad role responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all of the events across the year

• Ensuring communication between the team and different departments

• Ensuring resource allocation

• Working closely with internal teams including technical

• Liaising with external suppliers

• Identifying opportunities to develop events

• Monitoring budgets on events

• Line management and development of the team

• Onsite management of events

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for the Event Manager role you must come with demonstrable event management experience ideally gained from within a multi-use venue. Candidates should ideally have had exposure to running events including music festivals and live performances and be confident in adapting events spaces for these. Experience of managing and developing a team, including overseeing event delivery would be hugely advantageous.

Most importantly you must have great planning and communications skills and have the confidence and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
