EVENT OPERATIONS MANAGER - EVENT SUPPLIER

An opportunity to work for one of the largest suppliers of event hire equipment in the North of England.
Supplying a range of catering equipment, temporary structures, furniture and marquees this company are experts in creating the perfect setting for corporate functions, weddings and festivals in the North of England. With a huge stock of equipment and furniture including marquees, catering equipment, lighting and interior lining, they cater to every client's needs in a unique way making every event a special affair.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking for an Event Operations Manager to join the team. This is a key role within the company, providing leadership to onsite teams and liaising with clients regarding their requirements, ultimately providing an excellent service to every event!
Overseeing build of temporary structures including large marquees
Overseeing installation of interior linings, catering equipment, furniture, electrics and lighting
Liaising with clients throughout their event and managing and requirements
Managing a team of onsite riggers
Allocating resources of equipment and staff effectively
Adhering to H & S procedures
Upselling equipment and stock
Working to tight budgets and deadlines
The ideal candidate will have proven skills and experience in the construction of temporary structures at events. You will also be comfortable in a client facing role and be competent in managing a team.
