THE COMPANY

Well established in the industry, this family owned exhibition design and build agency are recognised for delivering the highest quality work for their clients across a range of sectors from; aerospace to defence, pharmaceutical and energy. Working from bespoke stands ranging from 15sqm to over 1000sqm they provide not only exhibition stands but also temporary structures, conferences and experiential events for an impressive client list that stretches across the globe.

They are now on the look out for an experienced Project Manager to come on board and continue moving the company forward by identifying new business opportunities and bringing new clients on board. The role offers fantastic scope for progression with the added opportunity of developing a sales team around you.

THE ROLE

Our client is now looking for an Exhibition Project Manager to join their exhibition custom build team in the Midlands based office. This role will be responsible for managing the successful implementation of each custom build project.

Key responsibilities will include:

Taking the initial client brief
End to end project management
Working closely with in-house teams including creative, design and build
Briefing and managing external suppliers and stakeholders
Managing operating plans including project schedules and design elements
Adhering to health and safety regulations
Managing budgets and overseeing cost management
On-site project management, including overseeing stand installation and break down
Delivering multiple projects simultaneously

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing and delivering exhibition projects. Ideally we are looking for candidates who are currently working in either an exhibition design agency or an event agency delivering exhibition projects however candidates from other project management backgrounds may be considered. Knowledge of build materials, an understanding of CAD software and an IOSH certificate would be beneficial but are not essential. Most importantly we are looking for an ambitious individual with a willingness to learn and develop within this fantastic organisation!
