Job description
LOGISTICS MANAGER - FLUENT FRENCH SPEAKING
LONDON
£21,000 - £25,000 + BENEFITS
NJ15062
Your chance to work on some really high profile projects for an established events company and use your language skills - native or fluent French essential!
THE COMPANY
This company has it all; a highly passionate and creative team, a client list of fantastic brands and a solid background in the delivery of high profile events within the world of finance. This privately owned agency specialises in bespoke financial roadshows, AGMs, investor events and more for some great clients in a wide range of sectors.
THE ROLE
Due to a continued increase business they are now looking for a junior Logistics Manager to join their London based team and assist in the planning and delivery of financial roadshows across the globe! Whilst focused predominantly on one of their key clients the role will offer the opportunity to work across a broader range of events and projects.
Responsibilities will include:
* Handling all logistical requirements for roadshows including booking venues, flights, transfers and hotel accommodation
* Managing dinner and social programmes for VIPs
* Liaising with and managing suppliers and venues
* Working with the senior team to manage costs and budgets on projects
* Updating project schedules and ensuring changes are communicated effectively
* Building and maintaining client relationships
* Being on hand to support with any client request
* Supporting with a wider range of larger corporate events
* On-site management where required
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have a good grounding in corporate events from either an events agency or corporate environment (or with events as part of a broader PA role) and be ready for a step up into a new role. This will be a fully supported role and training will be given for these niche roadshows and events, it is however imperative that you speak fluent French!
Financial sector experience is not essential but any exposure to working with fast paced and demanding financial clients would be beneficial. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be incredibly professional and well presented and be confident enough to work in a client facing role where high levels of interaction with VIPs is required.
Due to the nature of the role and international client base, candidates will be required to be flexible and work outside of the normal 9 - 5 where necessary to factor in the different time zones (office based) as well as open to international travel.
In return for your commitment this agency offers an excellent working environment, a close-knit culture and the opportunity to work with some of the best in the business whilst working on some high profile events for fantastic clients!
