THE ROLE
A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Production Manager to join this highly regarded agency. Being responsible for all elements of pre-production through to delivery this is a broad role with responsibilities including:
* Providing technical solutions to a range of events
* Managing the full event production process from concept to delivery
* Attending client meetings
* Technical specification and documentation
* Liaising with internal teams including design and build to ensure smooth integration
* Supplier liaison and management
* Overseeing the logistical planning of transporting kit and equipment
* Ensuring H & S on events
* Managing budgets
* Site visits
* On-site management including overseeing install / set up and managing freelancers onsite
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, which can be gained from either working for a production agency, technical AV company or venue. Candidates must have excellent knowledge of all technical disciplines including sound, lighting, video, scenery and staging. Exposure to working on a broad range of events including exhibitions, experiential events and conferences would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role. Candidates must have a good working knowledge of H & S regulations for events. Senior Technician's looking for a change of direction would also be considered for the role provided you have technical / AV knowledge and the ability to technically specify an event.
Candidates must be open to travelling onsite for events both in the UK and overseas and also have a driving licence and access to a car.
