THE ROLE

Due to continued success and the recent win of a new account there is now an opportunity for a strong Project Director to join their team. This is a senior role within the agency where you will be responsible for managing one large account, including ensuring effective delivery and the management of financials in addition to managing a team. Responsibilities will include:

*Managing the account including proactively developing relationships
*Maximising the account through cross selling and upselling
*Overseeing all elements of event delivery including taking the lead on large events
*Supplier and DMC selection and management
*Resource management
*Working closely with, and ensuring communication between all internal teams
*Ensuring service levels and KPI's for events are maintained
*Being responsible for the profitability of events
*Budget management including full financial reconciliation
*Onsite management
*Line management and development of a team

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must come from an agency and have extensive experience within the events sector, coming from an operational background where they have delivered UK and overseas events. Candidates must be commercially focused and have a proven background of managing and maximising accounts and associated financials previously. Any exposure to managing accounts in, or working on events within the automotive sector would be an added benefit but is not essential for this. Line management skills are a must and any previous experience of P & L management would be advantageous.
