THE COMPANY
Highly regarded within the events industry, this venue hosts an abundance of exciting indoor events including music events, conferences and exhibitions for a range of big brands, promoters and organising companies.
Due to their growing event portfolio they are now looking to expand their team with a Senior Event Manager to manage the delivery of larger scale projects and oversee a team of Event Managers.
This is a brilliant opportunity to become a key member of a talented team and take the reins to lead across a diverse range of fantastic events!
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Events Director will be responsible for:
*Planning and managing high profile events
*Working with internal departments to ensure all elements of events are on brief
*Leading a team of Event Managers
*Planning daily resource across the team
*Identifying opportunities to increase revenue for the venues
*Delivering key logistical elements of events including catering, security, technical
*Liaising with suppliers and managing the relationships
*Putting together event layouts and floor plans
*Managing and reconciling budgets as well as ongoing costs
*Attending key events on-site where required
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should have a background and providing end-end management across multiple events either within a large scale venue or within an event agency environment. It is key for candidates to have strong organisational skills and have the ability to coordinate internal teams. Candidates should have strong leadership skills and proven team management experience is a must within the events industry
