Are you looking to join a leading venue in Belfast where you will be responsible for the technical running of a huge range of events?

THE COMPANY

Delivering large scale events including conferences, gala dinners, awards, music events and much more, this leading venue are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join their growing team.

THE ROLE

Responsible for both the technical team and in house equipment, this role will be varied and fast paced and will require an excellent understanding of what it takes to ensure the successful technical delivery of events within a large scale complex venue!

Key responsibilities includes;

Play a lead role within the technical production department
Oversee the technical delivery of all events
Introducing new ideas into the team / department
Creating and implementing strategy within the department
Championing high levels of customer service and production quality
Managing, developing and nurturing a team
Ensuring that all processes, procedures and policies are adhered to
Driving innovation in equipment and investing in technical kit
Driving best proactive and process across the department
Managing departmental budget
Being involved in the strategy and planning for the future of the technical department

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates that have proven senior technical management experience from within the live events, conferencing or large-scale venue sectors. Candidates will be considered from both venues, technical suppliers and agencies provided they have experience of managing teams and departments.

This is an operational focused role so we are looking for candidates with experience in this area. You will be a leader, self-motivated and have the ability to manage a team.
