Working alongside their established sister organisation, a scenic construction company with roots in theatre and live events, this growing arm of the business centres on providing the best technical services to their many clients. With a large focus on providing packages for temporary and permanent museum and gallery installations, our client puts creativity and customer experience at the centre of their client solutions. Exploring and developing emerging technologies is key to ensuring their projects engage the client audience in most effective way!

They are now looking for an experienced Technical Production Manager to come on board on guide the growth of the technical side of the business.

THE ROLE

As a Technical Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the growth of the team whilst also managing the delivery of projects from a technical perspective.

Key responsibilities will include:

*Liaising with clients to understand their brief
*Managing project schedules and timelines
*Preparing technical specifications and quotations
*Obtaining and negotiating costings from suppliers
*Coordinating relationships with external suppliers
*Working closely with internal departments
*Suggesting emerging or alternative technical solutions
*Supporting on project budgets from a technical perspective
*Overseeing pre-production and onsite installation

THE CANDIDATE

This role would be ideal for either a Production Manager coming from an agency environment, or an AV Project Manager within an AV rental company, who is looking to broaden their skills and experience within a rewarding business. Line management skills and an exposure to museum/gallery installations would be beneficial but are not essential. Candidates do need to have a strong technical background to be considered for this role.
