THE COMPANY

This is a great opportunity to join a highly established creative comms agency in the Midlands and get involved in worldwide projects such as product launches and conferences for some very exciting blue chip clients. They deliver each event to an extremely high standard, but above this is a high level of strategic thinking that makes them a cut above other agencies!

THE ROLE

They are currently recruiting a Venue Finding Executive to join their Midlands based team. Overall responsibility for the role will be handling their clients' venue finding enquiry and providing a consultative approach to fulfilling their brief.

The role is varied and duties will include:

• Taking and developing a full brief for a venue find project

• Accurately costing the brief, under the guidance of an Account Manager

• Negotiating with a range of UK and European venues

• Operating all files in a professional, logical and organised way

• Liaising with clients on an ongoing basis

• Maintaining an accurate client and venue database

• Representing the agency at exhibitions and industry events

• Travelling where necessary for inspection trips, familiarisation visits and on-site management

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will need a good knowledge of UK and International venues, strong organisational skills, be capable of working on your own initiative, have good Microsoft Office knowledge and be an excellent communicator. We are also looking for you to be self-motivated, have a real can-do attitude, and be capable of prioritising and juggling lots of tasks … whilst remaining calm and professional at all times
