RMG15252 - We are looking for a Video Technician to join a growing technical production company that specialise in the events industry.

THE COMPANY

This technical production company have a fantastic reputation for the delivery of high end technical equipment and expertise to the events industry. They work with both event and production agency and take responsibility for the planning and delivery of all technical elements of each event from AV, lighting, video, projection, audio and set and staging.

Working on events across the UK and internationally they work in well-known venues and successfully deliver events including conferences, meetings, roadshows and product launches for high-profile clients.

Based in their purpose-built office in Staffordshire, you must be able to drive to access the offices. This company offer a fantastic working environment as well as training, where you can grow and progress your career further.

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, they now have an opportunity for a Video and Projection Technician to join their hard-working and dedicated warehouse team at their purpose built warehouse in the Midlands. This is a broad and hands-on position where you will support in the preparation of technical lighting equipment for a wide range of events, and will get the chance to go on-site as well.

As a Video Technician you will be responsible for;

• Working with Project Managers to understands the clients requirements
• Managing the video department and equipment
• Testing and preparing a range of video equipment
• Stock checking
• Maintenance of equipment
• Booking kit in and out using rental software
• Loading and unloading company vehicles
• Reporting any damages and working with suppliers to repair damages
• Working on-site at events when required

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this Video Technician role you must come with experience within the events industry with technical production companies and venues, or having come from a theatre background.

It is important that you have a good technical knowledge - particular with video equipment.
