THE ROLE
This role will see you working closely with the Hire Manager and other Hire Coordinators, supporting the AV hire requirements of venues across the UK.

The Company
This award-winning, full-service event & production agency are experts in delivering incredible experiences with creative thinking at the heart of everything they do. Their well-established and experienced team work closely with a broad variety of clients to produce and execute projects spanning conferences, exhibitions, incentives and private parties. The majority o their clients are repat business and a lot of new business comes of the back of referrals or mutual connections! They are able to provide a complete event solution to their clients with logistics, delegate management, production, design and creative in-house; they manage projects on both in the UK and Europe.
They have a diverse yet close knit and friendly team and are now looking to expand with a Business Development Manager to drive the agency to greater heights!
The Role
This is a brand new role for the company as typically all of their business comes from referrals, long standing relationships or mutual connections - they are aware of the potential if there was an in-house BDM and already have a list of contacts they want to approach so lots of warm conversations are to be had!
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Taking the lead across new business including the strategic direction of the business
- Devising and implementing sales strategies to develop the sales pipeline
- Proactively sourcing brand new leads and identifying opportunities within the market
- Developing existing client relationships and accounts
- Carrying out meetings with clients to present credentials
- Preparing and leading on pitches and presentations
- Working closely with internal departments
- Working to mutually agreed sales targets and preparing financial reports
- Understanding market trends and the businesses USPs
- Networking across the industry and attending events onsite
The Candidate
The ideal candidate must have strong and proven sales experience ideally from within an event/production agency environment however other events backgrounds may be considered. Candidates must be proactive, self-motivated and hardworking individuals.

THE ROLE
This role will see you working closely with the Scenic Workshop Manager, Scenic PMs & Carpentry Assistants within the workshop to ensure the seamless delivery on a vast array of bespoke structures & custom builds for truly thrilling events.
Responsibilities will include:
- Onsite carpentry & construction for events around the UK and beyond
- Construction /preparation of stock & bespoke scenic builds both in workshop and warehouse facilities
- Painting and finishing of scenic elements
- Application of vinyl graphics
- Carpeting / finishing of stages
- Assistance with stock asset management
- Loading/unloading of vans and trucks as required
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for the role, you must have experience in the creation of structures / scenic build - preferably within an events specific industry (although other industries may be considered).
