The Role
Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Technical Production Manager to join their growing production team. You will work on-site as technical support across number of prestigious venues in London as well as being responsible for the preparation and transfer of equipment from the warehouse to events.
The key responsibilities of the Technical Production Manager will include;
- Working with end clients directly and building relationships
- Client meetings
- Technical specification
- Putting together large quotations
- Advising on technical services
- Logistical management of crew and technical equipment

The Candidate
Candidates should ideally be working in a similar role as a Technical Production Manager and experience working within a corporate venue environment or an AV Company, combined with very good technical skills across all areas of AV. A career defining opportunity in a leading AV company who are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a fully-fledged AV Project Manager or a Senior AV Technician to progress into the position!
The Company

The Role
Utilising their full range of in house high end AV Tech (sound, lighting, projection etc) this role is broad, working with others in the team to deliver technically on mainly corporate conferences throughout the UK and working closely with clients to exceed expectations and keep them coming back for their next event.
Whilst no two days will be the same, the broad responsibilities include:
- Taking the brief from one of the company Directors
- Main point of client contact on site
- Reviewing the AV kit specified
- Site visits
- CAD plans (training can be provided)
- Liaising with their in house hire, warehouse and logistics teams
- Liaising with AV suppliers
- Booking and managing freelance crew
- Checking equipment prior to load out
- On site management of setup and operation
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will need strong technical experience across most areas of AV, in addition to being very confident and comfortable when dealing with clients on site. You will be the face of the company, so being able to communicate and build relationships with clients is paramount. You MUST also be able to drive and have your own transport.
