The Role
You will be working supporting and alongside a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager supporting the general processed and procedures within the warehouse for a variety of high spec audio visual equipment. As an Events Warehouse Technician you will be responsible for providing the technical support and working within a dedicated team of technicians whilst support across a range of warehouse operations to the highest of standards.

The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced candidate with a strong knowledge of Audio-Visual equipment. You will be from within an AV supplier or a Technical Production agency, where you have been involved in working with a variety of AV equipment. It is important that candidates have an enthusiastic and hard-working attitude with a strong technical knowledge as well as a flexible work ethic due to shift patterns.
To be considers for this opportunity you must have experience PAT testing and a full UK driving licence.

Are you currently working within a build / scenic events environment and looking for a new and exciting challenge?
THE COMPANY
This business design and build temporary structures for events, music festivals, sporting occasions, exhibitions, pop-up installations, advertising as well as permanent to semi-permanent spaces. They work on some exciting events such as Cannes Lions, and F1!
With expertise in architectural design and steelwork, they work with clients to create custom structures that fit their conceptual ideas.
THE ROLE
As the Head of Build you will manage fit out of structures to client specifications working closely with the Production team to deliver on client briefs. This will be achieved by meticulous planning for materials and resources in all stages of build and installation/derig. Throughout the season this will include balancing the build of upcoming projects, with the installation of live projects, ensuring that the warehouse continues to function smoothly to deliver on future projects, whilst delivering at a high standard.
Responsibilities include overall management of the warehouse with appropriate seasonal resourcing, stock and materials management, strict adherence to Health & Safety standards during build process and quality assurance on all structures; working on solutions to improve where required.
This role will see you working closely with Directors to develop the event build department, whilst improving processes, coordinating with senior team members within the workshop and ensuring delivery of projects is to a high standard.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing build team including line management
- Liaising with project managers, carpenters etc. to collate set lists and pass on to the workshop team
- Managing the preparation process of equipment
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Providing input on construction design and material specification for custom scenic elements
- Researching new materials, products & equipment and advise on investment
- Health & Safety Management
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for the role, you must have experience in the build process of structures / scenic builds (and the resources needed for this) within the events industry. If you have a proven track record of successfully managing complex builds and extensive experience in strategic build management, resource management and on site leadership then we need you!
