THE COMPANY

Having only been established for a few years, this global motor sporting event is already world renowned and attracts spectators in their thousands! With a busy events calendar, these take place across the globe including Hong Kong, New York, Montreal and Paris to name a few! Due to increasingly popularity, these events have established long term sponsorship from global premium brands.

With in-house teams including events, production, sponsorship, technology and marketing, they all work seamlessly together in order to deliver these complex mass participation events.

Due to their on-going success, they are now looking to expand their team with a 2D Designer. Working with in-house departments, local operators and suppliers, you will be responsible for the overall design and technical layout for each event.

THE ROLE

The production of site designs is crucial to the smooth operations of each event including overseeing coordination of access routes and spectator flow. As 2D Designer you will be responsible for developing designs and the overlay matrix across each site including temporary structures and across all existing facilities. Alongside this you will also be responsible for adding unique elements to enhance the spectator's experience!!

Key responsibilities will include but limited to:

  • Venue design of temporary and existing facilities.

  • Provide technical overlay's

  • Proficient knowledge of CAD

  • Working with local operators and suppliers

  • Liaison with in-house teams

  • Adapting specifications to meet industry standards

  • Travelling on-site

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have working knowledge within the event industry and proficient use of CAD. Experience of working across temporary structures would be high desirable as is experience in managing H&S in overseas locations. Due to the complexity of the designs, organisational skills are key as are the ability to work within right time frames.
