THE ROLE

Due to an increase in business both from existing account and additional wins, within the automotive sector, they are now looking for an experienced Account Director to come on board. With an emphasis on client management and operational delivery the role and is broad and includes:

• Growing and developing accounts

• Identifying new opportunities

• Pitching for business when required

• Overseeing delivery, including leading on larger projects

• Managing resources

• Building and developing long lasting relationships with clients

• Supplier liaison, negation and management

• Managing and reconciling budgets

• Onsite management

• Developing and line managing a team

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have experience working in either an event or communications agency as an Account Director, with strong production knowledge. Candidates must also have a proven background of working with clients in the automotive sector. Excellent client management skills and a proactive, team orientated approach to the work are a must for this opportunity, as is previous line management experience. Candidates currently working at a Senior Account Manager level and looking to take a step up will also be considered.
