THE COMPANY

Whether clients are looking to hold a small meeting for 20 or manage congress attendance for 1,500 delegates, the team can deliver!

THE ROLE

Due to an exciting surge of new client account wins we are now looking for a strong Account Director candidate to take the helm of a new team where you will manage event executives, managers and account managers at varying levels. The role will focus on managing and developing key account relationships; developing the profitability of accounts as well as overseeing the team to deliver a programme of complex and profitable events.

This is a broad role and will include:

* Managing and growing key account relationships
* Pitching for new business and inputting into proposals
* Strategically networking across the business to unearth new opportunities
* Motivating and developing your team including appraisals
* Monitoring service level agreements across the accounts and projects
* Maintaining and improving efficiency
* Financial reporting and forecasting
* Working effectively with operations, sales, HR and travel departments
* Ensuring all events run to the highest possible standard

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate for this role will come from an agency background and have previous operational, account management and managerial experience. Pharmaceutical or healthcare knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential. This will be a busy and challenging role, but highly rewarding for the right candidate.
