THE ROLE

Working as part of a close knit team this Assistant Team Leader position will be very client facing and support the Manager to oversee the daily running of the team. This role will involve working across some of their largest venue find projects and duties will include:

*Venue sourcing (throughout the UK and Overseas)
*Developing client relationships to encourage repeat business
*Building relationships with hotels and suppliers
*Arranging and attending site visits
*Attending FAM trips
*Preparing client facing proposals - giving multiple venue options to the client
*Negotiating rates with venues
*Keeping updated on venue and industry trends
*Mentoring/managing junior members of the team

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this Assistant Team Leader role we are looking for candidates who have strong, international venue finding experience, ideally from an events agency environment. Candidates will also have experience in being client facing and developing relationships with key suppliers. Experience in mentoring or managing a team would be beneficial but is not essential. Most importantly, it is crucial that you are process driven and have the motivation to work within a first class events agency!
