Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded technical production provider who work with an array of clients!

THE COMPANY

Our client will work with high profile clients and assist in the design and technical staging of events, from a small meeting to an arena spectacular and everything in between.

Servicing clients across the UK and Europe they will assist with the development of ideas and themes, providing creative solutions in the form of design, PowerPoint, keynote computer graphics, music and video or simply the rental of a piece of technical equipment!

THE ROLE

As part of this growth there is now a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AV Technician /Driver to join their team and look after all aspects of their in house AV inventory.

You will be expected to drive to venues across Birmingham and the UK using the company vans to set up, operate and dismantle basic AV equipment. You will also provide on-site technical support for our conferences and other live events these may take you out of the country and away overnight.

You will be involved in the set-up, operation of equipment and dismantling of it before returning the equipment to the warehouse for unloading and de-prep of that equipment and ensuring it is back in a show ready condition.

Key duties

  • Check in and check out equipment using rental software
  • Stock checking
  • Document all goods in and out
  • Prepare and test all equipment
  • Maintenance of equipment including PAT testing
  • Manage all storage space and areas
  • Health and Safety
  • Ensure equipment is safe and secure at all times
  • Delivery of equipment to event venues
  • Set up and operation on site

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have a good strong technical back ground across all AV disciplines, a pro-active attitude and above all a willingness to get involved and make things happen.
