The Role
This role is for an Event AV Technician / AV Warehouse Operative with proven experience in the AV industry. You’ll be at the heart of event production, working across operations, AV hire, and live events.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and preparing AV equipment, delivering and setting it up on-site, and ensuring everything runs smoothly during events. The role also gives you the chance to develop your skills, take on more responsibility, and work on high-profile events for corporate clients. It’s a hands-on, varied role for someone who is positive, self-motivated, and enjoys problem-solving while delivering great client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Management
- Efficiently prepare and test AV equipment for hire and events, ensuring all deadlines are met
- PAT testing
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe and secure transport of all equipment in accordance with ISO procedures
Warehouse Operations
- Conduct general maintenance tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Check equipment back in from hire and events, verifying its condition and readiness for future use
- Travel between branches and suppliers as needed to support operations
On-site Delivery & Setup of AV Kit
The Candidate
Essential:
- Ideally a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Full UK clean driving license
- Proficient with AV equipment and eager to develop further
- Flexible with working hours, willing to travel and work non-standard hours
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Adaptable and resourceful, ability to think on your feet
- Committed to on-going learning and professional development
- Good time keeping
