Fantastic client side opportunity for a senior level AV Technical Director to head up a department!

THE COMPANY

With international offices - Berlin, New York, Mexico and Paris - this major sporting event business has been established for 5 years.

With in-house teams to including events, production, sponsorship, technology and marketing they will produce and deliver complex mass participation sporting events across the globe.

Due to their unique events, they have already established long term sponsorship from global premium brands and attract spectators in their thousands!

This is a truly a unique opportunity to head up and oversee a department and take the production lead across major sporting events on a global scale!!

THE ROLE

Due to on-going success and demand, they are looking to expand their team with a talented senior level AV Technology Director who will oversee the event production department and a manage a small team.

The AV Technical Director will be responsible for ensuring technical guidance across the global projects, implementing procedures and working alongside internal departments.

Key responsibilities will include:

Strategic departmental planning

Implementing procedures and systems

Supplier selection and management

Liaising closely with internal departments

Overseeing team / freelancers

Departmental budget management

Lead across Health and Safety procedures

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, possibly heading up a department within an AV technical supplier, have man-management experience but still very much hands-on in the delivery of projects.
