THE ROLE

As Business Development Director you will be responsible for working with key Heads of Departments to drive sales strategy whilst also managing the sales team. Responsibilities includes:

* Developing and driving the sales strategy across the agency
* Leading on major pitches and tenders
* Working with strategy and pitch teams to develop proposals
* Holding accountability for targets and activities in relation to new business
* Identifying new business opportunities across the market to ensure growth
* Creating monthly/quarterly sales reports
* Identifying areas for innovation in relation to efficiencies across the department
* Ensuring the sales department meets targets
* Managing the sales team including reviews and KPI setting

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of working at a senior level within an agency based in a new business role. Team management experience is key as is the ability to guide on processes and resourcing across a busy team. We are looking for the ability to develop innovative sales strategies whilst also taking ownership over individual KPIs. Experience in pitch delivery is also essential to be considered for this role.
