THE ROLE
Due to continued growth across the company there is now an exciting opportunity for a strong Business Development Manager to come on board and drive new business forward. Joining the company as a crucial senior member of the team, you will be promoting the broad range of services this agency offer with responsibilities including:
*Actively developing business from new clients
*Generating and converting leads
*Researching and contacting new prospect businesses through cold calling
*Securing a pipeline of ongoing profitable revenue
*Working closely with all internal departments of the business to understand clients aims and ensure all services of the business are offered and upsold
*Booking and attending client meetings
*Presentation preparation and leading on pitches
*Networking at events and trade shows
*Building long lasting relationships with key clients
*Onsite attendance for events where required
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be a natural at consultative selling and hold a deep understanding of the corporate events market, combined with experience within an event or technical production agency. A proven track record of developing relationships and identifying and winning business is essential and candidates must have figures to support this. Candidates must be commercially aware, client facing and have proven experience in leading pitches.
