THE ROLE

Due to their on going success and business growth, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager who's main focus will be identifying new business opportunities and bringing new clients on board. Working closely with the Director this is a broad role with responsibilities including:

  • Setting a sales strategy

  • Identifying new opportunities and actively developing business

  • Generating and converting leads

  • Researching and contacting new prospect businesses

  • Working closely with all internal teams to ensure all services of the business are offered and upsold

  • Booking and attending client meetings

  • Presentation preparation

  • Pitching for (and winning) new business

  • Networking at events and trade shows

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will need to have proven experience of bringing in new business either within a design and build company or an events/ production agency. A proven track record of developing relationships and identifying and winning business is key and candidates must have figures to support this. Candidates must be commercially aware, client facing and have proven experience in leading pitches.
