This large scale association is the industry leader in its sector! Having been established for 70 successful years, they deliver a variety of high quality conferences, seminars, dinners, networking opportunities and engagement events to its huge membership base nationally.
The portfolio consists of around 70 events per year and the business prides itself on their high quality content and practical delivery.
Due to ongoing successes we are now seeking a Conference Manager to join this close knit team and lead on the conference & seminar production and event management of their varied portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Content production of events
- Carry out market research on topics
- Writing a commercial viable programme
- Sourcing and securing industry speakers and partners
- Managing event logistics end to end
- Sourcing venues
- Producing event time lines and plans
- Arranging event materials
- Budget reporting and management
- Onsite delivery
We are looking for candidates who have strong conference production experience from a conference organiser, association or similar background. Prior event operations experience would also be beneficial. The role calls for a confident and client facing individual as you will be attending meetings with members, partners and industry specialists.
