THE ROLE
Due to ongoing success there is now an exciting opportunity for a Conference Producer to join their close-knit team and have responsibility for the production and management of their annual conferences, as well as supporting on a range of training courses and webinars.
Responsibilities are broad and include:
End to end management of conferences across the year
Researching industry trends & identifying topic areas
Identifying and acquiring speakers
Managing the entire acquisition process including all pre-conference communication
Building and developing relationships
Producing the conference programme
Supplier and venue liaison
Managing and updating databases
Creating and supporting with conference marketing materials including e-based marketing materials
Overseeing the website conference content
Attracting sponsorship including marketing sponsorships opportunities
Liaising with sponsors
Post event reporting & analysis
Onsite management including managing speakers
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have proven experience of managing conference content, including researching market trends / topic areas and identifying and acquiring speakers. In addition any experience of managing event logistics, including travel and accommodation would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role. More importantly however is the desire to join a leading company and really make a difference to the events they deliver - a passion for, or experience within, the financial services sector is advantageous! In addition candidates must have strong time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a confident telephone manner!
