THE ROLE

Due to the expansion of their portfolio, there is now a new and exciting opportunity for a fluent German speaker to join their team and support across the board to ensure the flawless delivery of their events. Focusing mainly on their German based events and speakers, responsibilities are broad and include:

Being the main point of contact for all speakers including German speakers
Liaising with conference managers to clarify event briefs
Recruit appropriate number of speakers
Liaising with speakers to go through requirements
Editing speaker pictures and biographies in line with marketing deadlines
Receiving speaker presentations to correct AV specifications
Dealing with any speaker arrangements
Organising all logistical requirements (including travel and accommodation)
Managing speaker enquiries pre-event and on-site
Budget management and monitoring speaker fees

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must be fluent in German and will ideally have experience in an events setting, with strong organisational and communication skills. Any experience of liaising with speakers and working on conferences would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role. Most importantly the ideal candidate will have a drive and enthusiasm to progress their career within events and have the ability to prioritise and work within tight deadlines.
