THE ROLE

This company are now looking for an Event Account Manager to join their team where you will be responsible for growing business with corporate and private clients and accredited venues through effective account management and delivery of high specification events.

This is a broad role with responsibilities that will include:
 
  • Building and maintaining long term and strong personal relationships with designated venues and clients
  • Working with Commercial Director to develop and implement individual account strategies
  • Understanding client brands to build robust relationships and add commercial value
  • Developing and implementing strategies to build strong relationships with potential new clients
  • Growing business with existing clients through effect Account Management
  • Developing and present professional and effective pitches to secure jobs
  • Presenting pitches directly to clients securing sales and winning jobs
  • Keeping abreast of competitor activity and maintain competitive edge in the service offering
  • Following and upholding the existing budgeting and quoting processes.
  • Completing time sheeting as required to allow reconciliation against each job

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role, you will have prior experience in account management within an events business. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and presenting pitches and have outstanding client handling skills.
