With an established base and a solid and extensive membership base this leading association are well known for providing help, advise and support to their members. With strong relationships they fund research and with extensive volunteer base have a far reaching impact.
Due to continued growth and a busy events calendar there is now an opportunity for an Events Manager to come on board and support with the delivery of events for the association including their large scale annual conference / awards ceremony. A broad role responsibilities include:
* Working closely with the Head of Events
* Working with external agencies and partner organisations
* Event management
* Venue and supplier liaison
* Driving efficiencies throughout the team
* Working closely with internal teams and departments
* Ensuring effective communication
* Stakeholder management
* Onsite management
* Budget management
Candidates must have experience of organising events, including conferences (and ideally award ceremonies) and be confident managing all elements including budget management. Experience of working with external agencies and partner organisations would be an added benefit as would exposure to working within a membership association. Candidates will also need to be organised, have excellent communication skills and be used to managing multiple projects independently.
