Brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join an ambitious events team and work within one of the UK's most distinguished venues!
THE COMPANY
This is a world class venue with a truly international reputation for delivering excellence in research and teaching. Spread across 4 academic divisions they are well respected within the industry and pride themselves on their year on year growth and excellent facilities.
THE ROLE
Due to continued growth and a busy events calendar they are now looking to bring on an experienced Event Co-ordinator to plan ad co-ordinate their presence at overseas events and open days. Reporting into the Events Manager you will be required to work closely with other departments with responsibilities including:
Planning and delivering of events across the department
Venue sourcing for events
Managing logistics including travel and accommodation booking
Delegate registration including liaising with delegates and managing enquires
Liaising with suppliers
Preparing event materials
Event administration including raising PO's
Marketing the events, including updating websites
Budget management and cost tracking
Onsite management
Post event reconciliation including obtaining feedback
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have events experience and ideally have managed and delivered their own events previously. Experience of managing logistics including travel and accommodation is essential and any exposure to marketing events via e-mail marketing or social media would be an added benefit. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
