THE COMPANY

Boasting an impressive client base, this agency manages award-winning events all over the UK and Europe for both corporate and private clients! The sky really is the limit with regards to the types of events they do, accommodating for both corporate, private events to bespoke creative weddings! Whatever the brief, their close knit team will make it happen!

They are now on the look for a talented Event Director to come on board and help manage the team! The business have been going for over 20 years now so it is really important that you work well within a team and are able to generate ideas.

THE ROLE

As an Event Director you will be a senior member of the team and will be managing some of the junior staff, this will include monitoring progress and assisting where necessary. It is also crucial to have previously worked on events end to end and have experience in pitching and proposals.

*Leading and developing a team
*Taking initial briefs from the client and distributing them to the team
*Dealing with clients and arranging meetings
*Developing new and existing client relationships
*Working closely with internal teams
*Managing and organising appraisals for the team
*Ensuring operational delivery
*Prioritising tasks and produce your own deadlines

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate must have around 5 years+ previous event agency experience and have experience leading a team. You must have experience working on events end to end across a varied range of events. Candidates must be well organised and be confident client facing with the ability of developing client relationships. It is also really important that you have an excellent understanding of the industry and current future trends.
