Based in a central location their modern offices are commutable from Bedford, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Luton and Aylesbury.

THE ROLE
Due to continued success and growth there is now an opportunity for a strong Event Director to join their team. Focusing on delivering outstanding events and managing a developing a team responsibilities include:
Overseeing all elements of event delivery including taking the lead on large events
Ensuring communication and efficiencies between all internal departments
Resource management
Ensuring profitability of events and maintaining margins
Overseeing and inputting into proposals and pitching for business
Supplier management and negotiation
Managing and developing client relationships
Line management and development of a team
Budget management including full financial reconciliation
On-site event management when required
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must come from an agency and have extensive experience within the events sector, coming from an operational background where they have delivered large scale UK and overseas events. Candidates must be commercially focused and have a proven background of managing accounts and associated financials previously. Line management skills would be an added benefit for this role but more importantly candidates need to have a strong understanding and background of delivering events! Any exposure to working within the financial services sector would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role.
Candidates must be open to international travel as you will be required to go onsite for the events.
