London / Hybrid - An established events and group travel agency in the heart of London are expanding their team - this is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly forward thinking business!

THE COMPANY

This fantastic company is an industry leader, having been consistently growing its services, client base and reputation for over 20 years and now employing close to 500 people. They offer a wide range of services including event management, business and group travel, venue finding and event technology across a broad client base with a heavy leaning towards professional services.

Events can range from a VIP meeting in London for 50 delegates, to a high end meeting for 300 or a partner conference for up to 2,000 across the globe! There is now an exciting opportunity to join their team within an Event Manager position.

THE ROLE

As Event Manager, you will be responsible for managing smaller event from brief to delivery whilst supporting on certain elements for larger more complex projects:

-Managing the client relationship for your owned events / accounts
-Taking a brief and managing event planning through to delivery and feedback
-Preparing client facing proposals
-Managing deadlines through to ensure successful delivery
-Liaising with internal teams including venue find and travel
-Organising all event logistics
-Working with suppliers such as venues, DMCs and AV suppliers
-Holding financial accountability through budget management
-Attending onsite to deliver events where required

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for candidates who have existing event planning experience within the corporate sector. You will have managed some of your own projects and be able to provide seamless support to senior members of the team on larger events. Candidates from an agency, association, corporate business or venue background may be considered but you must have a proven ability to manage key clients / stakeholders.
