THE ROLE

There is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Event Manager to join their close-knit and dedicated team and deliver events across their client base. A broad and all encompassing role responsibilities will include:

*Managing events from initial concept through to delivery
*Maintaining and developing client relationships
*Implementing project timelines and meeting deadlines
*Organising full event logistics
*Overseeing the delegate registration process
*Managing delegate logistics including accommodation and travel
*Liaising and negotiating with AV suppliers, hotels and DMC's
*Preparing and reconciling event budgets
*Coordinating the delivery of events onsite
*Supervising a junior team member on a project basis

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have a proven background of running events from initial brief through to financial reconciliation including full logistics, supplier management and onsite support. This could be gained either from working within an agency, med coms company or client side (for a pharmaceutical client) as exposure to running events in the healthcare sector is essential. Candidates must have meticulous attention to detail as well as strong commercial and client facing skills. Candidates must be open to frequent international travel as you will be required to go onsite to manage the events.
