EVENT MANAGER - ASSOCIATION
12 MONTH MATERNITY CONTRACT

Our client is the largest and longest-established Trade Association representing thousands of member throughout the United Kingdom!
They successfully delivering a range of conferences, meetings and AGMs for their members across the UK.
The Event Manager is responsible for the organisation and operational aspects of running Conferences and a large Exhibition for the Trade Association.
This role has six key objectives:
To manage the end to end logistics for successful events across all platforms
To transition our core events to meet the demands of the market
To ensure that each event is run within budget, costs are negotiated with suppliers and ensure each P&L is reconciled with our accounts team and that internal policies and procedures are followed
Develop good working relationships with venues, suppliers and members
Maintain close liaison with the marketing and PR and creative team in order to ensure the delivery of successful, attendee focused, events
Secure exhibition stands sales revenue with both new and established UK and international industry specific companies
Candidates will need to have proven experience of working across a mixture of both conferences and exhibitions. Experience of liaising with members would be ideal.
