THE VENUE

Based in London, this stunning Victorian venue has two unique spaces that can cater for up to 250 guests. They have organised and hosted a range of events from weddings, birthdays, private dining, religious events and celebrations, comedy nights and bespoke events.

Offering a consultative service they strive for high standards and excellence at all times for every client. Their restaurant has been awarded 3 Rosette's and they have an outstanding reputation for offering a menu with freshly prepared and sourced food.

THE ROLE

This interesting venue is now looking for an Events Manager to join their team and play a key role in managing the full event portfolio within the venue. You will be a central point of contact for all clients and enquires into the venue, planning and managing the event and organising the catering.

Reporting to the Directors you will be responsible for;

• Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
• Key point of contact for all event enquiries
• Showing potential clients around the venue and advising them on ideas to meet their brief
• Creating bespoke menu's
• Managing and reporting on budgets (ranging from £2k - £15k)
• Liaising with kitchen to ensure food and services is delivered to a high standard
• Delegating and mentoring service / waiting staff
• Managing on-site at events

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for the Event Manager role you must come with at least two years experience within the events industry, where you have planning and managed a range of events. We will consider candidates that have worked within venues, restaurants and agencies.

Most importantly you must have great planning and communications skills and have the confidence and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
