THE COMPANY

Our client is one of the UK's largest and fastest growing event agencies! They deliver a range of exciting and memorable events across Europe and they work with some of the biggest household name brands.

THE ROLE

Due to growth and new client wins we are now looking for an Event Sales Support to join this dynamic and energetic team and deal with incoming event enquiries. Supporting the sales team you will also get involved in venue finding and sourcing suppliers for larger events.

You will also be required to manage the administration process for making the bookings regarding the events with the event suppliers, accommodation providers and third parties where required.

You will be given the opportunity to learn sales and account management skills alongside event management skills, enabling then to determine whether client engagement or event logistics is the more suitable avenue for their career.

Key duties:

* Act as first point of contact for all incoming enquiries via phone and email

* Managing and answering customer enquiries over the phone, by email and face to face

* Updating bookings and customer records in the relevant systems

* Venue sourcing

* Rate negotiations with venues

* Fam trips

* Database management

* Working to processes and timeframes

* Preparation of costing proposals

* Confirmation of bookings

* Keeping updated on local venue and industry trends

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must be familiar with event support including venue finding and event sales administration as well as have excellent negotiation skills be highly organised and confident in your approach
