RMG15030 - We are looking for an Events Assistant to join a global agency and support on venue finding services.
THE AGENCY
This global agency specialises in travel management and they offer strategic meeting planning, full event management and venue finding as part of their core services.
With offices across the globe they deliver conferences, incentives, corporate travel programmes and sporting events for a wide range of client across the UK and internationally.

THE ROLE
Due to continued success within the business they are now looking for an Events Executive to join their team. This role will sit within the events team and you will be involved with liaising with clients, finding venues and presenting back proposals to clients.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days will be the same!
As a Venue Finder your experience will include;
Taking venue finding enquiries
Accurately produce client proposals
Negotiating with a range of UK and international venues
Attending familiarisation trips and tradeshows to expand knowledge
Liaising and negotiating with suppliers
Using Cvent software
Maintaining an accurate client and venue database
THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for candidates who have at least six month experience in a venue finding role, ideally from within an agency environment. You will display high attention to detail and have a good grasp of a variety of databases and ideally a venue finding system (Cvent). Destination and venue knowledge in the UK and European cities is highly advantageous.
