THE COMPANY

Utilising the existing venues, these two establishments have recently come together forming a brand new events team. Exploiting the fantastic conferencing and hospitality opportunities offered within their shared space; they are able to hold corporate events for a diverse range of clients with numbers reaching 800 pax. This incredibly flexible event venue also offers unique spaces for the more unusual brief and private special events. Having already had huge success as established venues this new endeavour will only allow for an even busier event calendar!

THE ROLE

We are now looking for a strong Events Production Manager to join this exciting team! As part of the team you will provide an efficient and professional service managing the technical operational aspects of events taking place across both venues.

The role will cover the following:

*Running the full event production process from brief through to onsite delivery
*Acting in a client facing capacity, guiding on technical requirements
*Driving profit through upselling of technical services and equipment
*Creating technical specifications
*Working closely with event managers and internal teams including sales
*Liaising with external suppliers for surplus kit requirements
*Overseeing the set-up, running and de-rig of all equipment
*Managing budgets relating to technical production elements
*Providing excellent customer service and representation of the brand values
*Managing the junior team members and freelancers

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this position candidates will have experience working as a Technical Manager within a venue or a technical supplier organisation. As part of their previous background candidates will have been working in a client facing role, will have good technical / AV knowledge and experience in managing a team. Strong Senior AV Technicians with this level of experience may also be considered.
