A unique and exciting opportunity for a Field Events Coordinator to join this leading association, working across their varied event portfolio!

THE COMPANY

Based in central London this established association has a solid and well-founded history. Leaders in their sector, the business pride themselves on a UK wide programme of events and activities, including in house events within their prestigious venue and variety of exciting field events across the UK. With a 170,000 strong membership and growing, this role offers lots of opportunity for variety and progression.

This unique role allows you to take ownership for a section of the company's field event portfolio, including careers fairs, induction days, conferences and exhibitions. You will be working within a close knit and supportive event team and taking your career to the next level!

THE ROLE

With events and membership ramping up work, there is now the opportunity for an experienced Field Events Coordinator to come on board and take ownership of their own events and influence the events programme.

This is a broad role that includes:

  • The organisation of a range of member events around the UK
  • Management, negotiation and liaison with venues and suppliers
  • Management of external contractors, speakers and suppliers
  • Coordinating the associations presence at over 70 venues across the region
  • Management of professional relationships with internal clients and key event/exhibition contacts
  • Onsite event management for a portion of events
  • Travel and accommodation booking and management
  • Close liaison with the sales team

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have worked within an association, conference organiser or not for profit organisation in an event management capacity, where they have had exposure to event logistics. The role would be perfect for an existing Event Executive or an Event Assistant stepping up. Strong operational/logistics experience is essential.
