FINANCE MANAGER - Part Time / flexible working

We're a fast paced, fun loving and hard working recruitment agency based in the city center of Birmingham. We work for a wide range for creative sectors within the events and marketing space, finding them the talent they need to grow their businesses.
As a result we look and feel very much like our clients - open plan offices, an active social calendar, plenty of laughter and lots of hard work.
Having outsourced our book keeping and credit control previously we are now looking for an experienced person to join our team on a part time basis and take charge of all things finance related.
The days and times you work are flexible, but we do need 6 hours a week split over two days.
The role
This is a broad role and covers almost every area of finance for a small, successful and growing company, including;
- Creating and sending invoices
- Sending statements
- Chasing debtors
- Collating supplier invoices and preparing BACS payment lists
- Processing credit notes
- Resolving client queries
- Monthly cash flow statements
- Quarterly management accounts
- Quarterly VAT preparation
- Other ad hoc reports / support to the senior management team
The Candidate
The ideal candidate should have experience working within a small business, managing a wide range of financial "functions" combined with a strong knowledge of Sage One and the ability to work autonomously.
