The agency
This agency has gone from strength to strength since their first day in the back room of a house eight years ago. Fast forward to the present day and they now work with some of the biggest global brands out there, delivering a vast array of large scale experiential and internal events. A team of talented people, winning awards, gaining new clients and growing their services, all while still keeping their fantastic culture and creative approach - it doesn't get much better.

With all of this success there is now the opportunity for a Head of Business Development to join their team and help them to fast track their growth even further.

With a flat structure and progressive management style this is a fantastic role where the successful candidate will be given the support and freedom to utilise their experience and shape their own role.

Future career opportunity including equity and a board level position are also on offer.


The role
Having grown naturally through word of mouth the agency has a broad spread of clients and is delivering some fantastic work, but there is opportunity for this to be driven faster.

A new role to the agency there is huge scope to develop the position further, but the key criteria is to set the new business strategy and drive it forward, including;

- Identifying key client sectors
- Approaching clients through direct contact, networking events and broad marketing activity
- Credentials presentations
- Taking the brief
- Briefing internal teams and overseeing the pitch
- Leading the pitch team
- Retaining the client relationship where there is future growth opportunity

This isn't a high volume type of role, it's more centred around facilitating the thoughtful and relevant contact with the right people to drive new business.


The candidate
The ideal candidate should have new business experience working within an agency environment, targeting and winning business from big brands across a range of sectors.
