THE ROLE

A fantastic position has now become available for a Head of Conferences to lead a brilliant team and be responsible for the overall successful delivery on a portfolio of international events. With new launches planned and established events ever-growing this is an opportunity not to be missed!

This is a broad role that includes:

• Overseeing the event portfolio to ensure seamless event delivery
• Working closely with speakers, sponsors and suppliers
• Overseeing the conference team and portfolio
• Monitoring team performance, including coaching, training and regular development
• Budget setting, forecasting and management
• Researching new suppliers and managing the tendering process
• Post event reporting and analysis
• Process and system development
• Managing event logistics when necessary

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates should have similar experience gained from working within a conference organiser or similar event environment at a senior level. The role calls for a client facing individual who has strong conference logistics and team management skills.
